Stage access for load-in and load-out is available upon arrangement with SCPA’s tech staff. The loading dock is located at the NW corner of Drinkwater Blvd (sometimes called Civic Center Blvd.) and 2nd St. There is a locked gate at the top of the dock. The loading dock will accommodate only a single truck and is accessed by a long and narrow -260’L x 13’6”W steep tunnel. Since the loading dock entrance is at an intersection, the easiest way for large trucks to back down is as follows: Heading south on Drinkwater Blvd. (from Indian School Rd.), the truck enters the Drinkwater/2nd St. intersection. Truck will back into the loading dock, angling in at a NW direction to get the truck and dock aligned, then back straight down. Maximum truck height is 14’0”. Dock height is 3’5”, and dock door dimensions are 13’6”H x 12’W. Stage access is through a passage/ storage area with two 90° turns. A 10’ wide clearance is typical.
