About the Event

Russian pianist Alexander Malofeev made a name for himself at an early age, winning first prize at the International Young Pianists’ Competition when he was only 12 years old. Malofeev spent his remaining teen years winning a variety of piano competitions, including the International Rachmaninoff Young Pianists’ Competition and the Youth Delphic Games in Russia.

In June 2016, Malofeev released his debut solo album while also performing with the Mariinsky Orchestra, the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra, and the Russian National Orchestra, among others.
