About This Event

From the United States to Europe to the Middle East and Asia, Israeli cellist Amit Peled, a musician of profound artistry and charismatic stage presence, is acclaimed as one of the most exciting instrumentalists on the concert stage today. He performs regularly in the world’s major cities, including at New York’s Lincoln Center and Washington’s Kennedy Center.

Pianist Noreen Polera ranks among the most highly regarded chamber artists performing today, and maintains a career that has taken her to every major American music center and abroad to Europe and Asia.

Peled’s and Polera’s program showcases three lyrical masterpieces of the cello-piano literature.

Brahms: Sonata for Cello and Piano in E minor, Op. 38
Popper: Hungarian Rhapsody
Schubert: Arpeggione for Cello and Piano
