About the Artist
Geibral Elisha is the band leader of The Geibral Elisha Movement, a masterful entertainer, and a virtuoso performer. Elisha has had the fortune and pleasure to play all over Arizona, including at The Lost Leaf, Crescent Ballroom, The Nash, Valley Bar, The Van Buren, and countless private events.
In 2016, Elisha had the privilege of making his musical theatre debut as Jimmy Powers, the best friend and accompanist of Billie Holiday in Lady Day at Emerson’s Bar & Grill at The Phoenix Theatre Company. He was nominated for an ariZoni Theatre Award of Excellence for Best Musical Director as well as Best Supporting Actor for his work.
Shortly after the play ended, The Geibral Elisha Movement was founded. GEM is an otherworldly ensemble with a modern twist on free jazz. GEM has released four albums: Rosa Blanca, Rosa Blanca Vol.2, GEM Live at The Listening Room Phx, and Revelation, released on January 22, 2020.
