The Phoenix Youth Symphony (PYS) presents its 67th Season Fall Concert. PYS will be led by conductor and artistic director Matthew Kasper. Maestro Kasper is also the resident conductor of The Phoenix Symphony. PYS welcomes guest artist Marcy Rosen as she performs Saint-Saens’s beautiful Cello Concerto No. 1. PYS celebrates women composers with a performance of Lili Boulanger’s moving D’un soir triste. The concert will conclude with the magnificent Symphony No. 1 by Jean Sibelius. Join us for an outstanding afternoon of classical music as these young musicians will wow and move you. PSY is expanding horizons through music while developing the next generation of artists, leaders and patrons.
