Join Scottsdale Symphonic Orchestra for East Meets West—A Love Story to explore the themes of love and celebrate Valentine’s Day. World-renowned violinist Steven Moeckel performs the Butterfly Lovers Concerto, recounting the universal story of love and tragedy juxtaposed against Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet.

The Scottsdale Symphonic Orchestra is the resident orchestra of Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts, consisting of seventy to ninety professionally trained musicians performing beloved masterworks, new favorites written by diverse composers, and challenging staples of the orchestral repertoire.
