Featured Bands:

Rising Sun Daughter
Noon – 1:30 p.m.
Fountain Stage

Rising Sun Daughter is the space between. She is the story in the song, sound under the silence. She knows everything about waves in the ocean and hot wind across the desert.

Her debut album, I See Jane, expresses the longing felt when apart from a loved one, the search for true home, the love for oneself, and the connection with that which is yet unknown. Her soundscape is vast, touching earthy acoustic resonances in powerful vocals, strings, and pianos with shimmering synths, searing guitars, and harmonyall amidst the blossoming silence.

Based in Mesa, Arizona, Grace Rolland has a long musical history. Her grandfather was an illustrious pedagogue of classical string playing, and she was raised in a family of musicians and music educators. She trained classically on the cello, learned piano and guitar, and sang Patsy Montana in her family’s cowboy fiddle band. Rolland developed a deep love of music and found in her voice her true companion. Adept at many instruments, she writes songs with attention turned to sound. The room, the body of the instrument, the shape of a wordher ear for sound and poeticism brings rich texture to her songwriting.

The Senators
2 – 3:30 p.m.
Fountain Stage

The Senators draw folk rockers and indie hipsters alike, blending sophisticated songcraft with humble pastoral sympathies, featuring poetic lyrics, uplifting harmonies, and complex instrumental layers of a more melodic branch of indie rock.

Jesse Teer, Chuck Linton, Marshall Hunt, and Jason Yee grew up with music in very different ways. They were high school band geeks, they spun their parents’ Beatles vinyl as loud as they could get away with, and they started punk bands in the garage.

When stars aligned to bring these musicians together, it gave life to melodies that had been in their heads for years. It took some time to realize that their music, at its core, stems from the relationships that we have together. The Senators’ songs speak to love, family, community, and the simple beauty of the Southwest.

Guests are invited to bring a blanket to sit on the lawn or low-sitting lawn chairs to enjoy great food, friends, and free live performances. Delicious food from the grill, gourmet desserts, cocktails, beer, wine, and soft drinks are also available for purchase. Additionally, patrons can bring their own picnic baskets and pets to the park.

Schedule is subject to change. Events may be canceled due to inclement weather.
