About the Event

Don’t miss this chance to experience the legendary Branford Marsalis live in concert! Whether you’re a jazz aficionado or a lover of exceptional music in any form, this performance promises to be an evening of artistic excellence.

The New Orleans-born musician is an award-winning saxophonist, band leader, featured classical soloist, and film and Broadway composer. He has three Grammys® and a citation by the National Endowment for the Arts as a Jazz Master.

Though the Branford Marsalis Quartet, formed in 1986, remains his primary means of expression, he’s also a sought-after soloist with renowned orchestras worldwide and has collaborated with icons like the Grateful Dead to Sting. Marsalis has written music for films like Spike Lee’s Mo’ Better Blues, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, and Rustin. He’s even graced Broadway with his acclaimed music for Children of a Lesser God, Fences, and A Raisin in the Sun.
