Iconic comedian Louie Anderson is one of the country’s most recognized and adored comics. With a career spanning more than three decades, Anderson is a best-selling author, former host of Family Feud, and three-time Emmy^®-winning actor. As a stand-up, he continues to bring his inimitable brand of humor and warmth to stages across the country. Comedy Central named him among the “100 Greatest Stand-Up Comedians of All Time.” 

Anderson currently stars as Christine Baskets, matriarch of the eponymous family at the center of the FX comedy series Baskets, starring Zach Galifianakis and Martha Kelly. He won an Emmy^® for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series for the role, which he based on his mother and five sisters. Anderson won his first two Emmys^® for the animated series Life with Louie, which debuted in 1995. Anderson made his debut as a stand-up in 1984 on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and went on to appear on numerous other television shows and in comedy specials for HBO and CMT.
