Free Sunday concerts return to the newly renovated outdoor spaces at Scottsdale Civic Center! Sun & Sounds brings the best music Arizona has to offer in a laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere, surrounded by unique artist vendors, cold drinks at the bar, and plenty of good company. Bring your pup and a lawn chair for some fun in the sun! 

About the Performers 

Santa Barbara-born and Phoenix-raised singer-songwriter Talia Roya is known for her soulful melodies and emotive voice with a charming warmth that resonates with listeners. Driven by a deep connection with herself and her audience, her music blends pop, R&B, and alternative elements, creating a timeless space that has captivated audiences worldwide for more than two decades. With heartfelt performances and authentic artistry, she continues to inspire and connect with listeners across the globe. 

The Haymarket Squares are Arizona’s finest purveyors of punkgrass. Righteous anger meets four-part harmonies and bluegrass instruments for a mosh pit hoedown!  The band started out as a trio in 2009 and have since played more than 500 shows in the United States, Canada, and Europe, developing a loyal following among folks who appreciate rabble-rousing lyrics wrapped in a catchy melody. Known for long sets and short songs, a typical Haymarket Squares show features ecstatic dancing, blindingly fast mandolin, and broad smiles. Who knew changing the world (or at least singing about it) could be so much fun?
