Room for Two, A Drive-Up Pop-Up Performance

Set in a parking garage, The Ladies arrive at their secret catch-up spot to find a crowd. With the help of the garage attendant, Stan, The Ladies host the audience in an impromptu party. From trivial pursuit to smooth jazz, audience members can expect a hilariously awkward and fun experience—from the safety of their cars.
The Ladies are a zany, awkward pair of moms, clinging to the past to get through today.
With a fresh ability to laugh at life’s most routine moments, physical comediennes Marlene Strang and Leanne Schmidt have been performing together since 2016. They bring their wacky and awkward style of movement and live theatre into the most surprising and unexpected locations.
Professionally trained dancers, they have been featured at Chandler Center for the Arts, Triskelion Arts in Brooklyn NYC, the Beta Dance Festival in Phoenix, Center for Visual Arts in Denver, the Regional Alternative Dance Festival in Kalamazoo, and were showcased at the 50th Anniversary of Dance at ASU. Previous productions include Ladies in the Headlights, Ladies Gone Mild, and Let Your Lady Out in venues around the Valley.
Convertibles must have the roof in place, and Jeeps must have a soft or hard cover in place. No open top vehicles allowed.
Motorcycles, industrial trucks, and recreational vehicles (motor homes, trailers, etc.) in addition to vehicles with a height over 6′ 6” are not allowed/cannot be accommodated.
Masks are required.
Each Food Bundle is intended for one person and includes your choice of one item and includes a drink of choice: water or soda
Biscuit Freak Food Truck Menu:
- Da’ Club Sandwich with turkey, bacon, avocado, pepper jack cheese, and feta cheese spread all stuffed in between a cheddar biscuit.
- Hot Freak is made from a scratch green chile biscuit smothered in sausage gravy topped with a hot pork link, garnished with fresh jalapenos on a bed of freaky potatoes . . . open wide!
- Fajita Freak is made from a scratch biscuit topped with sausage gravy, mixed grilled peppers, onions, and carne asada, topped with chipotle sour cream over a bed of freaky potatoes.
- Avo Freak is an open-faced biscuit smothered in a feta cream cheese spread and topped with avocado, tomato, and bacon.
