Universal Ballet Competition (UBC) is a premier student ballet competition, which has expanded across the United States due to its growing popularity among dancers, studio directors, and the ballet community. UBC is a one-of-a-kind experience that combines competition, education, scouting opportunities, scholarships, and more.

At every semi-final competition, outstanding dancers are awarded scholarships to summer intensive programs and special awards. Those dancers adjudicated in the competitive level with High Gold or UBC Platinum automatically qualify for the UBC Grand Prix Finals. It is UBC’s goal to create opportunities for all dancers in both intermediate and competitive levels with every semi-final event.
