House of Stairs is a jazz-based collective that draws from funk, soul, and pop influences to create a distinct progressive soundscape. Inspired by the visual innovations of M.C. Escher, House of Stairs explores multi-faceted interactions between harmony, meter, and lyrics that are both compelling and imaginative.   

Music lovers and performing artists alike are ready to get back to live music experiences. With safety precautions in place, our popular Live & Local concert series moves outdoors for On the Lawn! Events will feature homegrown Arizona talent, food truck and bar options, plus several new processes to keep everyone safe, including distanced pod seating for purchase.  

This event now offers pod seating. Pod seating enables patrons to purchase as a group while maintaining our social–distancing protocols at the event. One pod accommodates up to four (4) people. Gates open 30 minutes before the performance start time.   

No outside food and drink (except for water) or furry friends allowed at Live & Local performances. Blankets or low–seated lawn chairs are recommended. This is a no smoking event. Face masks are required, and wristbands (received at check-in) are required for entry.
